Broker Bio

Vincent Jacobs is the broker and owner of 1st Security Real Estate Services.  Vincent began his career in financial services at Wells Fargo Bank, quickly promoting to Mortgage Loan Officer and then to Business Banking Officer.  He then moved to Union Bank where he was employed as an Assistant Vice President serving both consumer and commercial clients.  After attending graduate school, Vincent worked for Ernst & Young where he was a management consultant to real estate and homebuilding clients.  Motivated to take on more responsibility, he moved to boutique consulting firms, Plutus Enterprises and Thor Group.

Building on his real estate experience, Vincent joined GE Money Company, WMC Mortgage, where he was instrumental in several organizational and sales management initiatives before transitioning to Business Development.  Vincent was later recruited by Indymac Bank where he worked in the Mortgage Professionals Group before transitioning to its subsidiary Financial Freedom to serve Reverse Mortgage clients. 

Mr. Jacobs earned his MBA from the University of California at Irvine and his BA from California State University Long Beach.  During leisure time, he enjoys spending time with family, triathlon training, soccer, and surfing.
